How to make your Movie Night popcorn.
Add 1/3 cup kernels (1 bag) to a large, microwave-safe bowl and cover with a microwave-safe plate. Or add kernels to a medium paper bag, folding the top over twice to seal the opening.
Microwave on high for about 2-3 minutes or until the popping begins to slow down.
In a bowl, drizzle ½ tablespoon of oil or melted butter over the popcorn, and season to taste with your choice of flavoring.
Add 1/3 cup kernels (1 bag) and ½ tablespoon of oil or butter to a 3-quart pot (or popcorn popper).
Cover with the lid slightly ajar and cook on medium heat. Shake the pot frequently (using pot holders) as it heats.
When popping slows, remove from heat. Add the popcorn to a large bowl, and season to your liking with any of our five delicious flavorings.
